Our office was excited to host a Hispanic and Latinx Heritage Month Story Hour, in partnership with Hope-Hill Elementary School and the Martin Luther King, Jr. branch of the Fulton County Library! We welcomed 67 first-grade students to the MLK Library to learn about different elements of Latinx culture. Students learned basic phrases and to count to 10 in Spanish, browsed for library books, and heard from storytellers representing heritage from 6 Latin American countries. We love bringing opportunities for cultural exposure and education to students across our city!
