She then attended Georgia State University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with her bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education with an ESOL Endorsement. Upon graduation, she begins teaching with Fulton County Schools, and in 2015, she received her master’s degree in Reading, Language, and Literacy from Georgia State University. She continued her teaching career and is currently serving as an EIP (Early Intervention Program) teacher working with students K through fifth grades. She has served as the Chair on her School Governance Council, been nominated for Teacher of the Year twice and won for the South Learning Community of her school district in 2015.
She participates in several organizations at her church, St. Paul of the Cross, by serving on the parish’s Pastoral Council, teaching Sunday School, volunteering with the Teen Ministry, and singing in the Young Adult Choir.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
