Eric McGlothen has over 12 years experience in the field of accounting. He is a graduate of Morehouse College (1994) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business
Administration with a concentration in Accounting. Upon his matriculation from Morehouse College, he obtained employment at Deloitte and Touche as a staff accountant in business advisory services. During his four years with Deloitte and Touche, Eric advanced quickly and was promoted to In-Charge Accountant.

Eric then obtained a position at The Southern Company as an Internal Auditor in Accounting, Finance, and Treasury. During his tenure, he performed due diligence procedures for a subsidiary of The Southern Company – focused on acquiring small security companies. Eric’s responsibilities included testing internal control processes related to accounting and reporting systems at The Southern Company. In that time, he also completed the requirements for licensure in the state of California as a Certified Public Accountant.

In May 2000, Eric founded Brooken & McGlothen, LLC (formerly known as B&M Consulting Group, LLC). Brooken & McGlothen was an independent accounting firm providing accounting, tax, and consulting services to businesses and individuals. The company’s differentiating service package was their outsourced accounting service. This top-tier service included managing clients’ accounting and finance organizations through outsourcing.

In October of 2006, Eric founded Eric McGlothen, LLC, a Certified Public Accounting Firm that provides accounting, tax, and consulting services. Their niche is outsourced accounting services where they handle the back office accounting for their clients. Outsourced accounting services include Daily cash management, bill payment, financial statement preparation, tax advisement and preparation, and general business advisement. Outsourced accounting services allow their clients to focus in on what they do best –‐ running their operations. Eric McGlothen is a Certified Public Accountant with a passion for educating individuals, businesses, churches, and pastors on corporate structures, financial management, and tax matters. He has been in the public accounting field for over 15 years. He and his firm pride themselves on providing high quality service to its clients.
