2020 Addie Award

An OUTSTANDING fundraising event hosted last night by Better Outcomes for OUR Kids (BOOK). The Park Tavern was a fitting location, as we overlooked Atlanta’s skyline to uplift the 2019 Georgia Pre-K Teacher of the year. Jonathon Hines was the FIRST African American Man to win this award in Georgia, and was the INAUGURAL honoree of the ADDIE AWARD celebrating Excellence in Leadership in Education. This young man is doing God’s work with our youngest students as they begin their K-12 educational journey! Join us in March for our School Board Leadership and Legislative event. More information to come on www.BookATL.org. Please go to our site and take our survey and join our movement. We are focused on making sure African American children get educated by any means necessary… PERIOD! #thisisBOOK
