ABOUT

BOOK ATL

Better Outcomes For Our Kids (BOOK), a non-profit organization founded and operated by African Americans for African American children in metro Atlanta, was birthed out of the need to, “Educate, Empower, and Execute”, the beneficiaries of the quality schools movement and public education.

We believe well-educated African American children are future educators, entrepreneurs, doctors, lawyers, architects, engineers, social workers, astronauts, pilots, and all the other workforce professionals that make a diverse, vibrant, and sustainable community. The launching of a new and improved website that features new leadership team, advisory committee (The Men of BOOK), and our family-friendly programming, positions us to effectively and efficiently carry out the need to up lift public education. Our mission is rooted in “three core values” that represent the foundation by which we do our work.
