We're proud to be the first K12 STEAM-certified school in the state, and at Drew we're taking STEAM education to the next level, blending the humanities into the mix for more of a "STEAM Plus" experience! Here are some highlights from our Elementary Academy’s second annual STEAM Literacy Night which took place earlier this fall. More than 400 attendees had the chance to discuss the book Soccer Switch; learn about family literacy, arts, and STEAM integration at Drew in a fair-like setting; and play human foosball, the STEAM-based activity and highlight of the night. Atlanta United @atlutd goalkeeper Josh Cohen was our special guest who talked about his love for learning with EA students, and the night included celebrating Drew’s state-championship soccer program, as well.
