Educator, Community Activist
Ms. Kaufman is a native of California and a graduate of Marymount College in Rancho Palos Verdes, California. She has made Atlanta home for over 20 years and is raising 5 children. With 15 years of experience in the Education in the Social Services field, Khadijah has dedicated herself to family and community engagement. She has served in the capacities of President of Parent Support at Alkebulan Academy, Life Skills Coach at McNair Middle School, and recently as Director of Family and Community Engagement at The RISE Schools.
Her experiences have afforded her the opportunities to work and study under leaders such as Dr. Cheryl Grills, Dr. Wade Nobles, and Dr. Akinyele Umoja. Khadijah is also the Founder of O MO WE NI (A Person is Well Read) book club, Simply Zuri Jewelry and Household Goods, and Co-Founder of Pain Brings Purpose-Domestic Violence Awareness Organization
