In an environment where COVID-19 has impacted the provision of education to children across the country, and metro Atlanta, BOOK (Better Outcomes for Our Kids) is convening leaders within education to provide pertinent and timely information about the path forward. This virtual event held on Thursday, July 2, 2020 featured practitioners and elected legislative leaders from around the metro Atlanta region to address how their school systems were planning to deliver education services after COVID-19–while identifying some of their biggest challenges. With a keynote address from Stephanie Johnson, Deputy Superintendent of the Office of School Improvement for the Georgia Department of Education, the event also featured insight from:
