Sep 17, 2020

We kicked off our first program on September 17, 2020, with Jonathan Hines. The event allows attendees the ability to hear from leaders who’ve worked to create sustainable and transformational change for African American children, will become the foundation of our new digital program.

The plan for this platform is to create opportunities for intelligent conversations about education. The focus is to engage leaders who work in traditional and public charter school arenas. The desired outcome will be to extract “theories of change” that can be used by our audience to create meaningful innovation in their school communities.

BOOK will be focused on leaders who are making a positive difference in our schools, government, houses of worship, and the philanthropic community. Our main goal will be to talk about how we can “close the educational gap” for African American children. BOOK plans to continue do its part to keep OUR communities informed, engaged, and together.
